With the opening of the White City Development; Villiers Forbes was commissioned to Survey & Produce 4 Colour Duratrans, in all manner of sizes; and install in the Vision Express store in the Westfield Centre and also Oxford Street. Also we completed several Major Store Campaigns for Gucci and Marc by Marc Jacobs, these Campaigns covered Vision Express’ stores in the UK and Ireland.
Also Villiers Forbes Design was commissioned to produce a promotional drinks tray for Cuervo Tequila. The project was perfect for injection moulding and finished with a little screen printing, the client was very happy with the end result not only with the quality but also with the price.
Fat Face decided to further re-order more C clips for their watch displays, just before the Christmas break. Our original design has made an impact with the watch sales figures.

Powerglide Cue Stand
The Unicorn Group approached Villiers Forbes to design & produce a flat pack display system to a specified Budget. This was produced in a black laminated MDF and in such a way that the stand can be erected within 2 minutes with the help of an enclosed instruction leaflet. The Unicorn Group have indicated that their clients have been impressed with the overall unit, which is half the battle. “If your Retailers are happy with the POS, then they will be comfortable in selling your Product” |  |

Fat Face Limited
Fat Face approached Villiers Forbes with an awkward project, having perused our website. They asked us to look at their watch display cabinets and the issue of pricing the individual watches on display behind a locked glass cabinet door. After several prototypes, Villiers Forbes produced brushed steel C shaped clips with 5 locator holes for Fat Face’s 7 Outlet stores. Fat Faces visual merchandising team have reported that these tags have been very successful in increasing watch sales, therefore they will be trying these tags in a selection of their premium stores in the coming months. |

Oakley Sunglasses Print Campaign
Vision Express asked Villiers Forbes to produce their Oakley Sunglasses brand awareness campaign for all their stores. This campaign entailed digital & l itho print on several different materials. Finally the print was collated and packed per store prior to delivery. | .jpg) |

June 2008 - Mido & Ray Ban Campaign
With the onset of yet another English Summer and having just returned from visiting Mido 2008 in Milan, one of the World’s largest Optical exhibitions, Vision Express commissioned Villiers Forbes Design Ltd to print, produce, co-ordinate and collate the Summer Promotion for Ray Ban Sunglasses. This entailed a marketing promotional print campaign for 220 of Vision Express’ Stores. |

Floor Standing Unit for Outdoors Hat Co
Villiers Forbes were recently commissioned by Tilley Endurables Ltd. to produce a Sturdier version of their current floor standing unit. This unit has been developed to be delivered flat packed, allowing for substantially smaller delivery costs. On receipt of the unit the retailer erects the FSU efficiently and then stocks it with the Tilley Hats & Accessories. Methods of production that were used in this project are as follows: CNC’ing, Metal Production, Acrylic Printing. |

Prototype FSU for Graco & Ireland
We were approached by Graco to produce a floorstanding unit having already produced an FSU last year. The project was produced for several shows that will launch some New Digital Products for Graco within the UK Market. The Unit itself was produced from a combination of Metal, Wood, Acrylic finished off with Print and Electrical LED Lighting. |

December 10th 2008 - TILLEY
To follow on from the Wooden Counter Display Unit that Villiers Forbes produced, in 2007, for the Tilley Brand. Tilley asked us to produce a simple Printed Mobile to compliment their Counter and Floor stands. This POS will be distributed by the Tilley Sales force and add support to Retailers stocking all the different Tilley Products. |
November 20th - ABRU

Having worked with Abru on several projects during the last couple of years, Villiers Forbes was asked to print Outdoor PVC Promotional Banners, finished with 4 corner Eyelets and hemmed. |

September 18th - VIBE
This display unit for Vibe sachet drinks was commissioned by MoiMoi Advertising & Marketing and was produced from their drawings & artwork. The basic Countertop unit compromises Vacuum Formed base and printed header card. |

July 10th - As seen on TV
Watch out for the Vision Express adverts on TV. As well as the classic 'Barcelona' chair in all white, the adverts also feature a branded acrylic block by Villiers Forbes. |
5th March - The Pompidou Centre is 30
The Centre national d’art et de culture Georges Pompidou, as its full name goes, is one of the most controversial and recognisible buildings of the 20th century, and this year is its 30th anniversary. Perhaps the most alien building ever made in one of the world’s most historic city centres, it has not lost the power to shock.

17th-18th January - Wine+ at Oympia London
A warm thank you to Sue Shallcross of Steelite International for ensuring that Villiers Forbes Design Ltd. was supplied with special invites for the newly set up Wine event at Olympia in London. Incidently Steelite Int. sponsored Wine + with one of their own stemware lines known as Spiegelau, a fine collection of crystal wine glasses.

The event itself was extremely interesting and informative for our company. From an extensive collection of Wines from all the main wine growing regions to all the different Companies that specialise in producing and supplying, we were able to spit & network at the same time. Rather unusual in this day and age.

4th January - Photography Students
Villiers Forbes Design Ltd wishes to extend their gratitude and thanks to Sarah Macartney, Nicola Sharp & Oliver Sugars (from Leicester College) who have kindly supplied Villiers Forbes with a fantastic portfolio of product photography, in December 2006.
All three were briefed and given different corporate designed products to photograph for use on the VF website. Also a special mention, for the guys’ Photography Lecturer Marco Salotti, who was kind enough to recommend his students, having listened to our requirements. Thank you all for your time and all the best in 2007.

20th December - Vision Express
We have just completed a project for Vision Express (UK) Ltd over the course of December 2006; designing, developing & producing display boards for some 208 stores across the UK. The Display boards are promoting a new product for Vision Express called “Try Change Frames” and we wish Vision success with this new product in 2007. |
